R. Bradley Van Amberg
Brad attended evening classes at Fairleigh-Dickinson University in NJ while working in NYC for R.W. Pressprich, a Wall St. Stock Exchange member. After graduating with a B.S. in Accounting he joined Haskins & Sells, a "Big 8" CPA firm, now known as Deloitte.
In 1974 he obtained his first real estate license while working as a Corporate Controller. Nearly twenty years later he would transition from Corporate Controller and part-time Realtor into Real Estate. In 1998 he joined Carteret Mortgage while living in Raleigh as a Branch Manager and was later promoted to Vice-President. Brad was able to combine his real estate and accounting skills into his duties as a Loan Officer and Branch Manager. He remained in that role until the banking industry collapse starting in 2006. In that same year Brad and his wife moved to Wilmington to be near the beach and for Brad to transition back into real estate.
